Office Manager

The American Dry Cleaning Company is the largest independent dry cleaning company in London with over 35 branches. Due to our rapid and exciting expansion, we are recruiting an experienced Office Manager person with excellent IT and admin to join our team and support us in our busy Head office.

We’re a fun and lively team with the occasional dog visit!

Duties include:

  • Managing HR and being the day-to-day contact and escalating HR issues to the Managing Director in a timely manner
  • Supporting the Customer services and marketing departments
  • Suporting IT information ensure employees use company systems effectively
  • Overseeing office equipment and stationery supplies
  • Keep accurrate records company assets.
  • Enuring all workstations, Epos systems and Telephone systems are operational.
  • Overseeing health and safety compliance throughout the company, advising the MD of work to achieve standards keeping the offices safe
  • Purchasing within budgets, liasing with colleagues on major purchase to correct specification for equipment etc.
  • Managing suppliers and review of contract
  • Providing administrative support for the Senior Management team
  • Overseeing the fleet of vehicles
  • Maintaining cleaning and tidy public areas and recommended improvement. To liaise with estate management to ensure our production facility and retail environment are of a high quality.

Desirable

HR Qualification

Smartsheet or other CRM experience

5 years Management experience

Excellent Written English

Highly Competent in Excel

Good IT Skills

Working Times

5 days a week 9am to 6pmwith 1 in 3 Saturday 10am to 3pm or 4 days + 1 in 3 Sat

Dry Cleaning Spotter

We require an experience Spotter who is passionate about fabrics and knows what it takes to treat the most troublesome stains. The right candidate will be trained to the highest standards and have a thorough understanding of the latest treatments available.

Ability to train and coach other team members.

You will be responsible for a busy dry cleaning department and managing 8 dry cleaning machines and up to 80 loads per day. Knowledge of service schedule and maintenance is a key requirement.

Delivery driver

We are looking to recruit a driver who understands great customer service for deliveries and collections of dry cleaning items throughout London area with the following details:-

Age: 25 with Full UK driving licence for over 2 years – Van driving experience.

Must have good previous work references – Be able to work day/night time
Work 5 out of any given 7 days a week – Must live locally to NW9 area.

You will need to provide passport, driving licence, national insurance no
2 references.

Flexible hours available including weekend. To be considered for this role you must have:

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Work well under pressure and support the factory processes.
No experience necessary.

Eligible to work in UK (no student visa), you will be working Monday to Friday with every alternative Saturday.
